TheUrbanMama.com web-site (and any related web-site) (“Web-site”) is designed as a community for like-minded people with an interest in the well-being of expectant mothers, parents, babies, infants, and children, especially as regards of parenting. The Web-site site is operated by The Urban Mama (“TUM”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”), and use of the Web-site is strictly conditional on your agreement to these Terms and Conditions and to the Proper Use Conditions, which are set out in the “Privacy Statement and Proper Use Conditions”, (collectively, the “General Terms and Conditions”).
You must carefully read and agree to the General Terms and Conditions before using the Web-site. By accessing or using the Web-site you agree to be legally bound by the General Terms and Conditions as they may be modified and posted on the Web-site from time to time. If you do not wish to be bound by the General Terms and Conditions then do not use the Web-site.

The Site provides information, advice and an online community for parents. The information provided on the Web-site is not a substitute for examination, diagnosis or treatment by a doctor, midwife, health visitor, nutritionist or other qualified health professional. It is solely your responsibility to evaluate the accuracy, completeness, usefulness and fitness for any purpose of all details of opinions, advice, services and other information provided on the Web-site. In particular, if you or your children have a health problem, or if you or your baby or child is ill, we strongly advise you to consult a doctor.

The Site is controlled and operated by TUM in Singapore. We make no representations that the Web-site or any Content on it are appropriate or available for use in other locations. Those who visit the Web-site from other locations do so at their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with all applicable laws.

We do not make any express or implied warranties, representations or endorsements whatsoever with regard to the Web-site or any information or service provided through the Web-site. The Members’ forum (“Forum”) is designed to enable Members to exchange information, discussion and express their views. The views expressed on the Forum do not necessarily reflect those of TUM. TUM does not have a policy of censoring material posted on the Forum by Members, but reserves the right, at its absolute discretion and without being required to furnish a reason, to remove any material posted by a Member on the Forum or to terminate a discussion thread or to suspend any Member from use of the Forum. TUM may provide hypertext links to sites on the Internet which are operated by other people who We believe offer services and/or products which complement those offered by Us and which We think may be of interest to the Web-site users and We make no representations whatsoever about any other site(s) which you may access through the Web-site or which may link to the Web-site. When you access any other site you understand that it is independent from the Web-site and that We have no control over the content or availability of that site. In addition, a link to any other site does not mean that TUM endorses or accepts any responsibility for the content, or the use, of such a site and shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such site or resource. Any concerns regarding any external link should be directed to its respective site administrator or web master.
Availability of the Site
We will endeavour to make the Web-site available but cannot guarantee that the Web-site will operate continuously or without interruptions or be error free. You must not attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Web-site and, in particular, you must not attempt to circumvent security, tamper with, hack into, or otherwise disrupt any computer system, server, site, router or any other Internet connected device.
We may assign or subcontract any or all of our rights and obligations under the General Terms and Conditions.
