Deceptively Delicious: Simple Secrets to Get Your Kids Eating Good Food
Of course I saw Jessica Seinfeld on The Oprah Show and the next day I was rushed to go to Page One to buy the book. Lucky me, it was only 1 copy left. I love the book. The pictures inside are so pretty, helpful, and fun.
Despite the controversy surrounding recipe claims, Deceptively Delicious offers detailed information about both the recipes and the benefits of the major ingredients. I like the idea of sneaking vegetable purees.
For example, my son, Aldebaran really loves eggs but he hates spinach. So I made Green Eggs (with spinach), taken from the recipe in page 62. Guess what? he loves it!
It's all about strategies, Mama. Let's add vegetables to lots of kids' favourite meals. So we don't need to forever beg them to eat their vegetables.
Love this book! Beautiful pictures + yummy dessert recipes :)
Apalagi buat beginner mommy yg ngga ngerti tentang puree, this book is a great help.
nit! mau nyari ah buku ini. terima kasih ya buat the urban mama. sekarang mulai deh cari-cari buku kayak gini. gue harus punya persiapan matang buat kinar nanti.
didn't know about this book though i already learn the tricks the hard way. untungnya sih naia justru malah suka ama sayur & buah, jadinya gampang. biasanya kalo ada yang dia gak suka, gue bikin jadi pasta sauce trus dimakan ama pasta, karena dia sukaaa banget ama pasta.
