Trick or Treat Party: Eyeballs & Skulls

Every year, it has become a tradition for us to celebrate Halloween weekend at Thalia's neighborhood. Halloween is merely a night to take our kids walking along the neighborhood and scream "Trick or Treat!" then get candies on their pumpkin bags. Thalia and Ari are always kind enough to invite us to their Trick or Treat party every year, that it has become our annual tradition to have a Halloween-themed party at their place, since Naia was able to walk. Even when Ninit and family were still here.

This year, since Halloween actually falls on a weekday, we celebrated a little bit early last night. Thalia informed us that this year's theme is Eyeball. So, as last year, I prepared the theme cake, eyeball cake pops, made out of lime cake dipped in white chocolate.

As usual, Thalia and Ari prepared the party down to the last details, from the house decoration, Aina's Halloween costume, down to the skull balloons filled with candies. It's so much fun! The i-Store (eye store.. get it?) is the area where they placed the skull balloons filled with candy and the eyeball eyepatches. The guests will then asked to choose one, the trick (the eyeball patches) or the treat (the candies).

Aina was a hit in her homemade costume, the Pink Robot. It even has a drawer to put in the candies she collected. So cool!

And not just the kids, the adults are putting on their costumes too :)

While the kids are taking their "Trick or Treat" walk along the neighborhood to collect candies, the moms stay in to wait for guests and giving out candies.
