Topic: Multitasking Multiroles Mum (3M)
Living overseas in northern part of Canada following my husband is not an easy peasy breezy task for me. Especially in 2001, we have an active, healthy daughter who seems to have endless energy to explore even the wildest ice field near Alaska.
I cried a lot during her first years. Can you actually imagine leaving all those comfort Indonesia can give to a mother ?
Tons of families, relatives, bestfriends, maids, baby sitters you name it. But, here, I was practically on my own raising our child, as my husband is away a lot working in the field as a geologist.
I followed all kinds of books, and websites, and television program about raising child overseas.
On top of that, I also do cooking, cleaning our house, garden, washing, driving, working, teaching you just can't believe it...
Anyway, those years were over now, as I can adapt to the harshest situation here in the north.
So, bottom line, if you feel that you are a new Mum and all alone and want to cry...think again how lucky you are...as I have been in thousand times worse situation than you are...
Ok, that's for now...I will continue again next time...
Don't worry...I can also write in Bahasa Indonesia or even Sundanese, how's that, eh ?
